Those who find great satisfaction in posting anonymously behind a social media account are rather strange individuals. They’re usually the most active when anything goes wrong in the world of football and tend to spew out garbage opinions a rate that makes the United Kingdom’s gargantuan waste exports look like throwing an empty crisp packet on the floor.
And that’s why it’s so utterly glorious when the tables are turned on them.

So, onto today’s competitors. Bayer Leverkusen were back in the Champions League on Wednesday night after a brief hiatus from the competition, and welcomed Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow to BayArena.
After 90 minutes the game finished 2-1 to the visitors. A fairly unexceptional result for the regular functioning world, but the perfect opportunity for a troll to strike. And so they did.
With a not-so calculated swipe, the troll took aim…and missed:
