The clamour for Arsene Wenger to start Eddie Nketiah is growing and growing after the teenage forward against impressed for the club's U23 side at the weekend.

When not with the senior side, the 18-year-old has been a regular in Premier League 2 this season for the U23s, scoring an impressive 10 goals in 12 matches, also creating two assists.

He's clearly a youngster playing with confidence and knocking on the door of first team action, but has been limited to substitute appearances so far this term.

The England youth international famously made a big splash off the bench against Norwich City in October but has been limited to cameos in the UEFA Europa League ever since.

Fans are now calling for him to start games before the end of the season, believing he's a better option than the likes of Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck.

Will Wenger give him the nod when Arsenal face Stoke City after the international break?
