Arsenal produced a superb performance in the English Premier League on Sunday, winning 5-0 at home to Burnley as Arsene Wenger said goodbye to the Emirates.

It was the Frenchman's last home match in charge and on an emotionally charged afternoon, the Gunners blew their opposition away thanks to goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Alex Iwobi and Sead Kolasinac.

Not only were their attacking stars in excellent form, their defensive players shone too, with the likes of Konstantinos Mavropanos drawing particular praise from supporters.

The Greek 20-year-old was making just his second appearance for the club, the match again a massive opportunity to show what he can do in the Gunners' defensive line.

He stood up to the physical challenge of Burnley superbly well, exciting fans who are desperate for a commanding centre-back to take charge of their lightweight defence.
