Arsenal fans are not confident ahead of Milan match

Arsenal will attempt to avoid a fifth straight defeat in all competitions when they travel to AC Milan on Thursday night for the first leg of their last-16 Europa League tie.

The Gunners suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Ostersunds in the Europa League on February 22 before losing 3-0 against Manchester City in the EFL Cup final.

Arsene Wenger’s side were then on the end of a 3-0 defeat to Man City in the Premier League, before Brighton & Hove Albion ran out 2-1 winners over the struggling London team on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal will now visit Italian giants Milan for the first leg of their last-16 Europa League tie, and there is no downplaying the importance of the match as Wenger desperately looks to ease the pressure.

The club’s supporters have been looking ahead to the tie in Milan, and it would be fair to say that not too many are hopeful of picking up a positive result.
