Arsenal fans were left hugely disappointed on Saturday after watching their side succumb to Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side ran out 1-0 winners, securing a vital three points in the English Premier League that leaves the Gunners’ hopes of finishing in the top four looking very slim indeed.
Tottenham could have scored more during the 90 minutes and were comfortably the better side, despite Arsenal fans’ optimism heading into the match thanks to new signings Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Neither managed to have an impact on the match whatsoever and while that left supporters frustrated, most are also sympathetic to them given the lack of attacking support from Arsenal’s established stars.
Some are blaming Arsene Wenger for getting his tactics wrong while others simply believe they suffer from a lack of quality, but fans are remaining patient with their new signings for the most part.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Aubameyang’s afternoon…
We didn't utilise Aubameyang today, he was open countless times on the left hand side in the second half (shouldn't even be there), Iwobi wasn't in the game today, Ozil may as well have been on the moon. Wenger sort it out, Ozil playes best central! #arsenal #afc

Aubameyang today, in many people's eyes, had the same fundamental issue that Lacazette has had all season: lack of quality service. That issue is down to Wenger and his inability to coach effectively #AFC

#Aubameyang was incredibly isolated today…little to no service. The irony here is that I don't see the fan base blaming him for being "invisible" and "offering nothing". Rewind back a month and #Lacazette was getting stick for the same thing. Convenient memories. #AFC

Problem is that everyone will go nuts about Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan when one had no freedom had to do what he did at United and the other was isolated up front chasing lost causes blame wenger he got it all wrong today #NorthLondonDerby #AFC

Aubameyang’s performance today was literally no different to Lacazette’s recent games. Shockingly strikers need service https://t.co/yrDgDfMFkS

Just to finish for a while, if you are slagging off Aubameyang and Mkhytarian after two games then YOU are the problem and are embarrassments to AFC. Auba had no service, and was wrongly called offside, Mkhi just had three assists and most importantly, they have only just arrived

Aubameyang got so little service today

All very well and good buying your aubameyangs but if we can't even give service to lacazette aubameyang aint gonna get service neither

Spurs were the better team…simple as. Poor attacking play, why was Iwobi in the middle and not on the wing. Aubameyang no service whatsoever. Weekend ruined.
