Arsenal fans blame Tottenham Hotspur players for England’s heartbreak

The hopes of a nation were dashed on Wednesday night when England were knocked out of the World Cup.

There was a sense around the country that Gareth Southgate was going to lead the Three Lions to glory for the first time since 1966.

Kieran Trippier was one of the standout players of the tournament for England, and he opened the scoring inside the first five minutes.

Croatia turned things around in the second half as Ivan Perisic found an equaliser, which forced the tie into extra time, and during those 30 minutes, Mario Mandzukic struck to send his nation into the final against France.
