Jack Wilshere’s future has not yet been resolved but it has been a big talking point among the Arsenal following.

The midfielder will come to the end of his contract next month and at the moment he is yet to put pen to paper on fresh terms.

Wilshere has been at Arsenal for his entire career having come through the youth team in 2008, but injuries have dominated the majority of his senior career.

Last season, Arsene Wenger sent the 26-year-old to Bournemouth on loan, where he had a decent run in the team before breaking a bone in his leg at the end of the campaign.

Wilshere returned to Arsenal and after recovering from the fracture, he stayed healthy but could not hold down a regular spot.

In total, the England international, who missed out on a spot in the World Cup squad, made 38 appearances in all competitions and only 12 of those were Premier League starts.

On Wednesday, Wilshere dropped a hint on social media by uploading a post to Instagram stories, which read: “There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.”

Many Arsenal fans feel that the midfielder will not be part of Unai Emery’s new regime.
