Arsenal fans delighted with Francis Coquelin’s performance at Manchester United

Arsenal fans have reacted to former midfielder Francis Coquelin’s good showing against Manchester United on Tuesday evening. The Frenchman started on the right-wing for Valencia as they kept José Mourinho’s men to a 0-0 at Old Trafford in their Champions League group tie.

The 27-year-old left the Gunners for Valencia in January and has since been a regular starter for the Spanish club. Coquelin had a solid game against United on Tuesday handling the pressures of the likes of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford on the wing. He was eventually substituted in the 78th minute by Carlos Soler as Marcelino Garcia’s men survived and absorbed a lot of pressure by United in the final stages of the match.

Gunners fans however have taken to Twitter to have a few digs at the Red Devils following Coquelin’s performance. The result was another disappointing one for United who have now gone four games without picking up a victory.
