Jack Wilshere is yet to sign a new contract at Arsenal, and as it stands, the midfielder will be free to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.

It had been thought that the England international's Arsenal career would end last summer following an unsuccessful loan spell at Bournemouth.

Wilshere has worked his way back into contention at Arsenal this season, however, scoring twice and providing five assists in 33 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, who have managed to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old, but Arsenal are said to be increasingly confident of signing the midfielder, who is valued at £16.2m by transfermarkt.co.uk, to a fresh contract.

Wilshere is currently on England duty ahead of the upcoming international friendlies against Netherlands and Italy, and the Arsenal supporters are desperate for some good news regarding his future.
