Arsenal fans do not want to see £18m-rated attacker anywhere near teamsheet

When considering that Theo Walcott scored 19 times in 37 Arsenal appearances last season, the criticism surrounding the attacker could be considered a touch harsh.

The 28-year-old has never fulfilled the potential that he displayed at Southampton, but there are a number of Premier League clubs that would take him without a thought.

Walcott has scored three times in all competitions this season, although he has not yet registered in three Premier League appearances.

The Englishman is expected to be on the bench for Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, and that is exactly where the club’s supporters want to see him.

Indeed, when Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted quotes from Walcott, who is valued at £18m by transfermarkt.co.uk, previewing the City match, the club’s fanbase were on hand to reveal their views.

There are still some Arsenal supporters that see the best in Walcott, but many feel that he is simply not good enough to represent the Gunners.
