Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been quick to bring in new faces since becoming Arsene Wenger's successor.

So far, five players have arrived at the Emirates, the most recent of which is young midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

The 19-year-old finalised a switch to the North London outfit from Lorient last month.

Due to his age, the France Under-20 international is expected to continue his development in Arsenal's youth structure.

However, some fans feel that he should be given a chance in the first team following his performance against Chelsea on Wednesday evening.

The teenager played the entire pre-season friendly in Dublin as Arsenal went on to win 6-5 on penalties in the Aviva Stadium.

Guendouzi more than held his own against top-class opposition as he protected the defence and also set up attacks from deep.

The confidence of the Frenchman caught the eye of Arsenal supporters, many of whom are excited by what the midfielder could potentially bring while working under Emery.
