Arsenal have been dismal away from home this season and they are still waiting for their first Premier League point on the road in 2018 after the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday.
That result, combined with Chelsea’s stunning 3-2 comeback win against Southampton on Saturday, should put paid to any faint hopes the Gunners had of coming fifth in the league this season.
In actual fact, Arsene Wenger’s side find themselves just two points ahead of Burnley, who sit seventh, and have to host Sean Dyche’s overachieving side before the season is out.
Arsenal have lacked conviction and backbone for so many years now under Wenger that being continually rolled over on the road feels like some kind of parody of themselves.
But it has been revealed that Arsenal have now lost more games than in any other season under Wenger – 15 – and we’ve taken a closer look at the angry reaction from the Gunners fans…
The stats this season just keep getting worse ffs

We should also blame the players. No passion on the pitch. no rebellion when the match does not turn in their favor. We have a lack of leader in the dressing room like Kompany. Maybe the solution is to sign @TroopzAFC just for putting its foots down and to motivate the players
