Arsenal fans hijack Tottenham Hotspur’s North London derby tweet

One of the biggest games in the Premier League calendar gets underway on Saturday as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur go head to head.

The Gunners have already tasted victory against their North London rivals this season as they earned a 2-0 triumph at the Emirates earlier in the campaign.

On the day, Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez netted the goals, but Arsenal will have to fare without the latter due to the Chilean’s move to Manchester United in January.

Arsene Wenger’s side currently sit sixth in the Premier League table, four points adrift of Tottenham, who reside one place above.

The Gunners head to Wembley in good form having thrashed Everton 5-1 last weekend, and they will also have an opportunity to unleash new signings Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Ahead of the game, Tottenham’s social media team posted a tweet with the aim of getting fans geared up for the showdown.

It certainly worked, but it was the Arsenal fanbase that hijacked the post in a bid to wind up their rivals.
