Arsenal fans have urged Unai Emery to start Kieran Tierney against Sheffield United on Monday evening.

The left-back joined the club from Celtic in the summer in a deal worth £25m.

He has yet to make his Premier League debut, however, missing the first seven encounters of the league season due to a hip injury.

Tierney was on the bench for the 1-0 win over Bournemouth, though, and played against both Nottingham Forest and Standard Liege in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League respectively.

And supporters want him to be named in the starting XI when the Gunners take on Chris Wilder’s side at Bramall Lane on Monday.

Emery’s men are currently on a five-match unbeaten run, drawing with Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Manchester United and beating Aston Villa and the Cherries, and can move into third-place, leapfrogging Chelsea and Leicester City, with a victory over the Blades.
