Jack Wilshere has been in the headlines in recent days discussing his Arsenal future.

The Independent, along with other British media outlets, carried quotes from the midfielder claiming that he will need to hold talks with manager Arsene Wenger about his position at the club.

After recovering from a leg fracture, Wilshere has made 10 appearances in all competitions and none of them have involved Premier League starts.

The 25-year-old has suggested that he may need to leave the Gunners in January in order to find more first-team action elsewhere.

There are fears from the player's point of view that he will miss out on a spot in England's World Cup squad for next summer's tournament in Russia.

Some Arsenal fans, though, are keen for Wilshere to stay and believe that he deserves more game time.

That opinion was shared on social media after the midfielder made a cameo appearance in Sunday's victory over Burnley.

Wilshere was introduced in the 68th minute as a replacement for Alex Iwobi and he ended up on the winning side as Alexis Sanchez netted an injury-time penalty to earn a 1-0 win for Arsenal.
