For many years, Arsenal have been the so-called 'bigger club' when it came to comparisons with North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners still dwarf their opponents in terms of league titles as they have 13 compared to Spurs' two.

However, it feels like the tide is turning as Tottenham have become serious title contenders.

In the last two seasons, Mauricio Pochettino's men finished third and then second respectively, while Arsenal's bid for the Premier League crown dwindled.

The 2016-17 campaign was historical in regard to the North London rivalry as Spurs finished above the Gunners for the first time in 22 years.

Arsenal's social media team tried to spark excitement among the fans by posting a video of the Gunners' 5-2 win over Tottenham in 2012.

For some supporters, though, it had the opposite effect.

The last time that the two teams met at the Emirates, the pair played out a 1-1 draw, with Harry Kane netting a penalty and Kevin Wimmer scoring an own goal.
