When considering that Theo Walcott scored more than 100 goals for Arsenal, the criticism of the attacker is more than a little bit harsh.
Indeed, Walcott managed 108 goals in just shy of 400 appearances for the Gunners, but a lack of football in the first half of the 2017-18 campaign saw the Englishman move on last month.
It was Everton that pounced to sign the 28-year-old, and he has already scored twice for the Toffees since arriving during the January transfer window.
It would be fair to say that Walcott struggled to reach his early potential at Arsenal, but the attacker still had a very successful career with the Gunners in terms of goals.
Walcott remains a popular figure with the Arsenal supporters, and many called for the attacker to return in response to a Twitter post from the club on Tuesday morning.
Indeed, it was on this day 12 months ago that Walcott scored his 100th Arsenal goal.
The Englishman, who is valued at £18m by transfermarkt.co.uk, now plays his football for Everton, but the Arsenal supporters would love to see him back at the Emirates Stadium.

Bring him back and give Everton Welbeck.

We sold Walcott with more than 100 goals and kept Welbeck who can't even shoot at goal.
