Theo Walcott spent 12 years of his career at Arsenal, but in the last few seasons struggled to get regular game time under manager Arsene Wenger.

With the World Cup on the horizon, the 29-year-old made the decision to move on and sign for Everton in the January transfer window.

Since making the switch, Walcott has started 12 Premier League games and in that time has scored three goals and created two assists.

On Monday night, the attacker was the difference in Everton’s game against Newcastle United at Goodison Park as he netted the only goal of the match.

It was a rather drab affair overall, but Walcott’s hit was eye-catching as he latched onto a rebounded ball before taking a touch and then driving it into the roof of the net.

Everton fans have been impressed by the England international’s contribution since his arrival at the start of the year, and even Arsenal fans can appreciate their former player’s positive form.
