It’s a well known fact that Arsenal fans, myself included, are never fully happy. Despite winning a sixth consecutive Premier League match at the weekend, extending their unbeaten run across all competitions in the process, Gooners are still riled up at the start to this week.
Instead of Pires Morgan or a rant from ArsenalFanTV ruffling the feathers this week, it’s Arsenal’s very own Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who has rubbed more than a few people up the wrong way with some very public comments on his future.
‘The Ox’ has opened the door for a potential exit to Arsenal if his first-team opportunities don’t improve but many fans have been quick to point out that the England international has had plenty of chances to stake his claim for a starting spot, without doing anything to secure that position.
What is Oxlade Chamberlain saying? No one in recent times has been given more opportunity to stake a claim like he has.

They have a point too, as Oxlade-Chamberlain has made over 100 appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League since signing from Southampton as a teenager five years ago but has been a peripheral figure within the squad – although, to be fair, he’s also had plenty of injury issues.
Other fans aren’t quite as calm with their views on the situation but, given Jack Wilshere is spending the year on-loan at Bournemouth, there is the chance of a loan move for Oxlade-Chamberlain and it certainly wouldn’t be a bad idea.
If Oxlade-Chamberlain wants to play more often he should try actually playing like a half competent footballer.

Wouldn’t be against Oxlade-Chamberlain going out on-loan. He’s looked like he’s needed one for years
