Arsenal fans on Twitter were buzzing after their 2-0 win over Everton on Sunday and high praise was reserved for Alexandre Lacazette's stunning finish to break the deadlock.

Everton had a number of chances in the first 45 minutes and Petr Cech was on top form to stop the Toffees' summer signing Richarlison and former Gunner Theo Walcott on multiple occasions.

The Arsenal midfield was often overrun, but they were saved by their strikers in the second half. Just before the hour mark Frenchman Lacazette cut inside from the right-hand side of the box and fired a pinpoint finish into the top corner past England number one Jordan Pickford.

It was then a double blow for Everton as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished off a counter attack just three minutes later to effectively kill the game. Arsenal fans on Twitter loved Lacazette's goal though as the game was finely poised at the time.
