Arsenal fans pray that the club do not launch late bid for Zaha

Wilfried Zaha has regularly been mentioned in the transfer gossip pages this summer, with many reporting that the winger could be on his way out of Crystal Palace.

Over the weekend, The Mirror reported that Chelsea were in pole position to land the 25-year-old after Tottenham Hotspur withdrew from the race, but now Arsenal fans are deliberating over a move.

The Gunners are believed to be in the market for a new winger after recruiting five new faces.

Manager Unai Emery has already brought in defenders Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis, as well as midfielders Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.

Numerous wingers have been linked to the North London outfit, and now fans have been discussing the possibility of Zaha being a target.

If the Gunners do try to make a late swoop for the winger, they should expect to pay a hefty fee.

Last month, the London Evening Standard reported that Palace value the Ivory Coast international at £70m, which is miles apart from Transfermarkt‘s figure of £27m.

Some Arsenal fans have expressed on Twitter that they do not want their club to pursue a deal for Zaha.
