Most football fans want their club to wrap up transfer business early, particularly when a global tournament is being staged.
It seems that Liverpool have got the message, which has made some Arsenal supporters concerned.
The Merseyside outfit surprised everyone by announcing the signing of midfielder Fabinho from Monaco on Monday.
The Reds now have two new midfielders to add to Jurgen Klopp’s squad following the signing of Naby Keita last summer.
Arsenal are yet to bring in a new face, but that is not too surprising given that Unai Emery was only recently appointed as the club’s new manager.
The Spaniard will need some time to get the players that he wants, but some Arsenal supporters are concerned by Liverpool’s dominance.
The Merseyside outfit may have lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final, but it was not all disappointing given that they finished fourth in the Premier League.
The Gunners had to settle for sixth place and were 12 points adrift of their rivals.
Some supporters are not too worried about Liverpool’s swift buying in the transfer market, but others are.
I don’t care what Liverpool are doing. I’m more interested that we get the signings needed to make the squad competitive. But it’ll be the coaching from Emery that’ll bring the biggest improvements to the first team.

Maybe if Sven played as much FIFA 18 as the Liverpool board he would go for those players. He only has FIFA 12 in his office clearly. Can’t wait for us to sign Cambiasso!

Let’s stop measuring ourselves to other clubs and worry about our own business. It won’t make us feel any better concerning our ourselves with what others do, it’s not our god given right to have first dibs on every talented player in the world.

Buying well as a consequence of selling well. Torres, Sterling, Suarez and Coutinho. They got top £ for all, and reinvested wisely in the main. That + a progressive manager with pull has put them in a strong position.

We are only allowed to sign players who have played for Dortmund, worked with Sven or related to Sven ?

They were already ahead of us – now they’re disappearing into the distance.

I know you shouldn’t worry about what other teams do in the transfer market but we were way behind them last season and they are making impressive signings while we seem to be trying to recreate Dortmund circa 2015. Very concerning.

All unproven though really and only successful over a short period of time so it’s not too concerning. Plus, it’s Liverpool.

Honestly, we’re starting a long-term project cause the last one failed, and the fact that we’ve not been good for a while should be irrelevant, we gotta unite and hope this one works.
tldr we’re the new Liverpool.
