Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Emmanuel Petit told Paddy Power that he thinks Unai Emery should leave, before going on to say that he doesn't recognise the club anymore.

"I believe it’s time for Unai Emery to leave Arsenal. The results are not good at all. I don’t recognise this team any more and I don’t recognise this club any more."

Petit made 109 appearances for the Gunners across a three-year spell in north London, winning the Premier League and the FA Cup under Arsene Wenger's tutelage.

However, the former France international - who won 63 caps for his country along with the World Cup - is clearly unhappy with what is going on at his old side, and has revealed his true feelings about Emery.

The former Sevilla manager has overseen a terrible campaign with the Gunners so far, winning just four out of 12 Premier League games as Arsenal sit sixth - one place behind newly-promoted Sheffield United.

One fan said that Petit "says things how they are" while another supporter said that they "totally agree" with the 49-year-old's comments about Emery and the state of the club.

Let's take a look at some more of the Twitter reaction...
