Reiss Nelson was at it again for Hoffenheim at the weekend as he was brought on against Augsburg with less than ten minutes to spare and won the game for his side after just 93 seconds had passed. The ‘wunderkind’ tapped home a rebounded Adam Szalai strike to etch himself into Bundesliga history books as he became the youngest non-German player to score six goals or more in the league.
As of his most recent goal the 18-year-old has a strike rate of one goal every 51 minutes and, while some may question the Spaniard’s reasoning for sending him out on loan in the first place, Unai Emery is mulling over the possibility of recalling the youngster in January.
The former PSG boss is faced with a difficult dilemma – does he continue to allow the starlet to flourish abroad or bring him back across the channel to boost his own squad options?
One thing is for sure, the Gunners look to have a potential star on their hands.
Here’s how the London club’s fans reacted on Twitter.
Not overhyping him but i just think he is better than Messi in his prime.
