According to reports in the Daily Mail, Arsenal are ready to move for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno this summer, and Gunners fans have been quick to have their say on the rumour.
The Daily Mail says that new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat wants to sign a new stopper this summer, with current number one Petr Cech putting in yet another disappointing display this season in the 2-1 defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Sunday, and David Ospina having just a year left on his contract at the end of the campaign.
The report adds that the 26-year-old Germany international is highly-rated by Mislintat, and he has kept seven clean sheets for Leverkusen in 25 Bundesliga appearances this term, conceding 33 goals.
Arsenal supporters took to social media to have their say on the link to the keeper, and while one said “oh please no, he’s atrocious”, another said he would be “another liability”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
He’s got a mistake in him, he’ll fit right in

Horn and Leno will cost what 30m combined? Both have release clauses apparently.
We must sign both. Sell Ospina and Cech.
Then we are set at GK for another 7-8 yrs. Maybe even 10.
