Arsenal fans react to confirmed starting XI against Watford

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made six changes to the side that beat AC Milan 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday for the visit of Watford to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, and Gunners fans have been quick to have their say on the selection.

Petr Cech, Rob Holding, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Alex Iwobi, Mohamed Elneny and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all come into the XI, with David Ospina, Calum Chambers, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck dropping to the substitutes’ bench, while Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey don’t make the squad.

The north London outfit will be looking to pick up just their second win in six Premier League matches against the Hornets, having lost to Swansea City, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Brighton and Hove Albion in four of their previous five.

Arsenal supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the Frenchman’s selection, and while one said “our back 4 = scary”, another said “announce the real team now”.
