Arsenal have undergone significant changes in the past few months, the biggest of which saw Unai Emery succeed Arsene Wenger as the club's manager.

Fans always waved goodbye to long-serving duo Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla, who left on free transfers, while club captain Per Mertesacker retired to take a role with the Gunners academy.

However, while the sands of time breezed through North London, one surprise figure remained in his position in the squad - with Arsenal not managing to offload Carl Jenkinson despite his major fall from grace.

Capped by England in 2012, Jenkinson has spent time with West Ham and Birmingham City in recent years on loan and last appeared for Arsenal in a League Cup quarter-final defeat to Southampton almost two years ago.

Failing to secure an exit in the January window and in the summer, the 26-year-old has remained with Emery's ranks and fans reacted to his inclusion in the first-team squad's photo for the 2018-19 season.

We have gathered some of the best reactions below.
