Arsenal manager Unai Emery took to Twitter on Tuesday to wish the now former chief executive Ivan Gazidis all the best with his new job at AC Milan. Arsenal confirmed Gazidis's departure to Italy early on Tuesday with a full statement by the Greek who ten years spent ten years.

In his Tweet Emery thanked Gazidis for helping the Spaniard settle in at the Emirates after he replaced Arsène Wenger in May. Gazidis is believed to have played a significant role in finding Emery as the suitable replacement for Wenger.

The Arsenal manager also expressed his excitement in working with the two new appointments who will take over from Gazidis. The club announced Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham as the new head of football and managing director respectively after both worked at the club in different departments before the Gazidis announcement.
