It's fair to say Shkodran Mustafi might not be every Arsenal fan's cup of tea. The Germany international has endured a difficult time in north London since arriving from Valencia and his most standout moments for the club have been memorable for all the wrong reasons.

His calamitous error to allow Wilfried Zaha to score at the Emirates in the closing stages of the season probably angers some Gunners fans even now, and his displays against pretty much any of the top six are usually horrific.

But, according to Turkish publication Aksam, his nightmare at the club may be set for an imminent end. The report claims Turkish giants Fenerbahce are interested in signing the centre-back and that the club's sporting director, Damien Comolli, has already made contact with the German's agent.

The news saw Arsenal fans take to Twitter to voice their opinion and many were rather delighted about the news the 27-year-old could finally be on his way out of the club.

Indeed, some even suggested that their fellow fans should be "grateful" to Fenerbahce over taking Mustafi off their hands whilst a few even admitted that they had prepared various modes of transport to get him to Turkey as soon as possible.
