Arsenal fans savage Shkodran Mustafi’s friendly display

Arsenal fans have ripped into defender Shkodran Mustafi after another inept display at the heart of the Gunners’ defence.

Mustafi has endured a poor season in 2018-19, routinely turning in below-par displays at the Emirates Stadium.

And his errors were once again at the forefront of every supporter’s mind as the Gunners faced Al Nasr in a friendly during a warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

Ronnie Fernandez scored a superb goal for the hosts in the UAE, but it only came after the German central defender slipped while he attempted to close him down. Mustafi was, humorously, on his back when the ball hit the back of the net.

Arsenal turned the game around, winning 3-2, with goals from Carl Jenkinson, Alexandre Lacazette and youngster Tyreece John-Jules.

Naturally, a number of Gunners fans were quick to take to Twitter to demean the 26-year-old, with many insisting that he simply must be sold when the summer transfer window reopens for business.

Take a look at the best of the reaction to his calamitous performance below!
