Arsenal fans on Twitter have slammed owner Stan Kroenke after the Premier League prize money figures were released.

The Gunners' fifth-place Premier League finish netted the club £142,193,180, yet many Arsenal supporters are sceptical that those funds will be utilised in the most productive way.

Unpopular owner Kroenke has been accused of putting himself before the club and lacking the ambition to properly invest, especially in the transfer market.

The American businessman also owns teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLS, leading to questions about where his priorities lie.

Unai Emery's side face the prospect of a slender summer transfer budget of just £40m should they miss out on Champions League football, with the Europa League final on May 29 the club's last chance at earning a place in next season's elite European competition.

After seeing the figures of Arsenal's monstrous earnings, many fans are perplexed as to where that money is going with Kroenke identified as the main culprit.
