Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to slate Henrikh Mkhitaryan after the midfielder put in an abysmal performance at the Vitality Stadium against Bournemouth.

The Armenian star messed up some glorious opportunities to put the game out of sight for the Gunners, and had many fans up in arms as he strolled around the pitch whilst Mesut Ozil watched on from the bench.

Mkhitaryan, formerly of Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, has just two goals and an assist to his name this season as he looks to be exiting his prime years as a footballer.

The 29-year-old is becoming more and more wasteful and looks ineffective in almost every game that he plays at the moment, and patience is wearing thin with the out of sorts midfielder.

Naturally, Arsenal fans have had enough of his underwhelming showings, and have taken to Twitter to voice their annoyance.

Let’s take a look at some of the best tweets…
