Lukas Podolski joined Arsenal from FC Koln in the summer of 2012, and the attacker ultimately made 82 appearances for the Gunners - scoring 31 times in the process.

The German's first season at the Emirates Stadium saw him manage 16 goals in 42 appearances, before netting another 12 goals during the 2013-14 campaign.

The 2014-15 season proved to be difficult for Podolski, however, as he struggled for football in the first half of the campaign before joining Italian giants Inter Milan on loan in January 2015.

Despite a decent return for the Gunners in terms of goals, there is a general feeling that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger underused him.

Podolski is actually still going strong at the ripe old age of 32, with the former Germany international currently playing his football for Japanese side Vissel Kobe.
