Laurent Koscielny is one of Arsenal’s longest-standing members in the current squad.
The Frenchman signed for the North London outfit from Lorient in 2010 and went on to win three FA Cups with the Gunners.
Koscielny has been a regular feature in the back line over the years, but in recent seasons he has been guilty of committing some costly errors.
The centre-back had a disappointing end to the 2017-18 campaign as he suffered an Achilles injury that forced him out of the World Cup.
Koscielny is not expected to return to action until the winter, but the 32-year-old has indicated that he does not envisage being at Arsenal for much longer.
In an interview with Nice-Matin, the Frenchman suggested that he is likely to leave when his contract expires in 2020.
Koscielny will be approaching 35 at the end of the 2019-20 season, and by that point he might not be a regular starter anyway.
Some Arsenal fans have been posting their thoughts on the defender’s comments via Reddit.
