Arsenal fans tell club to sign Ahmed Musa after brilliant Nigeria display

Leicester City attacker Ahmed Musa scored a brilliant brace for Nigeria in their 2-0 win against Iceland in their second 2018 World Cup fixture on Friday, and Arsenal fans have urged their club to sign the exciting 25-year-old star.

The versatile forward, who can play as a striker or on the wing, has endured a difficult time since he joined the Foxes in 2016, scoring just five goals in 33 appearances in all competitions.

The Nigerian spent the second-half of the 2017/18 campaign on loan at former club CSKA Moscow, and he showed his qualities in Russia again on Friday with a brilliant touch and strike for his first, before ending a solo run with a calm and composed finish for his second.

Arsenal supporters, who are desperate for their club to sign another £67.5m World Cup attacker who would likely compete with Mesut Ozil, were quick to have their say on Musa’s display via social media, and while one said “we should sign Musa and give Iwobi in return”, another said “replace Iwobi with Musa quickly”.
