Arsenal could be in for a busy summer transfer window following the announcement on Friday that manager Arsene Wenger will leave at the end of what has been another disappointing season, and Gunners fans have told their club to sign Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, rated at £16.2m by Transfermarkt.

The north London outfit look set to miss out on Champions League qualification through the Premier League as they currently lie in sixth position having failed to take a single point on the road in 2018, although they could still make it if they win the Europa League.

Ndidi has quickly established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the top flight over the course of the last two seasons, making 135 tackles in 33 Premier League appearances this term – 29 more than any other player.

Arsenal supporters have been having their say on the Nigeria international via social media, and while one said the 21-year-old is "better than Kante", another said "Arsenal could do so much worse".
