Arsenal scored a late equaliser in their 1-1 draw against Southampton at St Mary’s on Sunday, but Gunners fans weren’t impressed with Sead Kolasinac’s performance.
The north London outfit came into the clash on the south coast looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat against Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend, but they got off to the worst possible start when Charlie Austin scored in the third minute.
Kolasinac once again started in the left wing-back role with the Bosnia and Herzegovina international having little competition for his spot there with Nacho Monreal playing as a centre-back, but he struggled to make an impact on the game before Olivier Giroud equalised two minutes from time.
Arsenal supporters were quick to take to social media to have their say on the 24-year-old’s display, and while one described him as the “flop of the match”, another said he “has been poor since Swansea”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Sead as well. Iwobi could have been more efficient on that wing

I am still not 100% of what job Kolasinac does for this team?
We need to use him better imo

Kolasinac has been poor since Swansea

Kolasinac has been absolutely terrible for a minute now. He looks overweight and unhealthy.

Still not sure if Kolasinac is actually any good

Kolasinac needs a rest. He looks mentally saturated to me. If we are to keep playing with 3 at the back, I'd seriously consider playing Maitland-Niles as left wing back. He's been better and better with the B team #Arsenal

Kolasinac: flop of the match for me.

Why are people killing Bellerin today? He's been OK. Kolasinac is the one dropping a disasterclass. Again.

Our wing backs have been very poor. Surprised by Kolasinac. Had such a good start and now isn't that impactful anymore #AFC
