Arsenal’s shambolic performance in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday is still casting a huge cloud over Arsene Wenger and his players.

With a lack of fight, urgency and desire, the Gunners reached a new low and were comfortably beaten by a Manchester City who barely had to get out of second gear for the entire 90 minutes.

While the “Wenger Out” brigade has been a vocal minority at the Emirates for some time, Sunday has likely seen a change in opinion from plethora of supporters who once supported the Frenchman but now want him gone.

There are a number of managers around the footballing world who have been linked with the Arsenal job over the last three days, despite no sign that Wenger will be leaving his role.
