Arsenal fans want Max Allegri as their new manager after Juventus comeback

Max Allegri’s Juventus side came from 2-1 down with three minutes left to play to beat Inter Milan 3-2 at the San Siro on Saturday and boost their Serie A title chances, and Arsenal fans were quick to react to the comeback on Twitter and are desperate for the 50-year-old to succeed Arsene Wenger.

The French manager announced that he would be leaving the north London club at the end of the season after 22 years at the helm, and attentions have turned to who is going to replace him at the Emirates Stadium, with Luis Enrique revealed to be the preferred candidate after we asked the fans to vote on our new manager poll.

Juve’s hopes of becoming the 2017/18 champions were dealt a huge blow as they trailed 2-1 to 10-man Inter – with Napoli breathing down their necks – but Allegri changed things around and masterminded what could prove to be a defining victory.

Arsenal supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on Allegri and the incredible turnaround, and while one said “welcome to Arsenal”, another said he is “the only man for the job”.
