Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur by a 4-2 scoreline at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to secure victory in Unai Emery’s first north London derby as the Gunners boss.
The Gunners fully deserved the win – which took them above Spurs in the Premier League table – as they produced an aggressive, committed, battling display.

Despite having gone in at half-time 2-1 down, the home side showed character and determination to score three second half goals and secure a memorable victory over their bitter rivals.
Not only did Emery’s side attack with flair and confidence, but they also defended solidly and were resolute at the back. The Gunners’ right-back, Hector Bellerin, particularly impressed with his tireless work on the flank.
The 23-year-old Spaniard defended doggedly and also produced a sublime through-ball which led to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s stunning equaliser.
After the game, plenty of Arsenal fans took to Twitter to praise the 5ft 10in ace for his derby day performance…
Bellerin was brilliant yesterday. His pass to Ramsey for the 2nd goal has gone under the radar a bit. Some of his passing yesterday was extraordinary he helped us so much to beat their high press. He was brilliant. do you think bellerin is back to his best? #arsecastextra

A lot of people wrote Bellerin off and I’m so glad that he’s proved those idiots wrong

Said it yesterday during the game but Bellerin and Kolasinac were absolutely outstanding. Energy, agression, quality in the final third. Brilliant.

I have slated Bellerin for lacking fight and fire to defend with your life but yesterday WOW , I must applaud him and his brilliant display. Torreria epitomizes desire and fighting for the badge on the shirt. What were the emotions and atmosphere like within the ground – Tony.
