Arsenal fans absolutely love Mesut Ozil. The German, the Gunners’ club-record signing, struggled in his early days in north London, but he has exploded over the course of the past 18 months or so, developing into an assist machine.
The 28-year-old has been in decent form thus far this season, and was brilliant again on the weekend. The London club overcame a potentially tricky weekend clash with Swansea despite going down to 10 men, with Ozil’s 57th-minute volley the winning strike.
As the numbers show, the silky superstar played five key passes, netted a vital goal and was successful with every single one of his dribbles. On top of that, he made two interceptions and was accurate with 74% of his passes.
If Ozil continues putting in performances like his outing against Swansea, Gunners fans will fall even further in love with the pass master.
