Arsenal have received a huge boost in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the Express.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been heavily criticised for not signing a striker during the summer, but it is believed the Frenchman is a long-term admirer of the 33-year-old Sweden international.
Gunners fans have demanded the addition of a world class striker for some time now, but Wenger has failed to deliver one as of yet.
But that could change if the Express’ claims that Zlatan intends to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the near future are true.
The Swede is one of the most sought after strikers in the world, and has netted an incredible 106 goals in just 126 appearances for the French giants, but is reportedly thinking about leaving the French capital for a new challenge.
Clubs in the MLS and Qatar are also thought to be eyeing a move for the 33-year-old, but the Gunners remain the favourites to bring him to the Premier League.
