So despite going down to ten men mid-way through the first-half, Arsenal showed some spirit and desire to fight back to clinch an impressive point at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

The Gunners twice fell behind against Chelsea, and were staring down the barrel of an agonising defeat after Cesar Azpilicueta struck late on. But captain on the night, and making his comeback from injury, Hector Bellerin stepped up when Arsenal needed it the most, cutting onto his left foot and bending a shot into the far corner of the net.

The Spaniard's goal rescued a draw for the north London side, and the fact he lasted 90 minutes was certainly impressive in and of itself.

And after seeing his battling display, Arsenal fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the 24-year-old, with a few praising his role as captain.

A few fans were quick to hail him for producing an impressive performance on his comeback from injury, with one supporter in particular saying his return is a "big boost for the squad".

A couple of fans of the north London side praised his defensive work, with one supporter in particular expressing that Bellerin far outshines the side's other right-back choice, Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

So having made his comeback from injury at Stamford Bridge, Bellerin will no doubt be hoping that he can stay fit and healthy until the end of the season. The Spaniard's display against the Blues on Tuesday night was particularly pleasing in respect to the level of fitness and desire he showed. He could so easily have come off complaining of tiredness, but instead, rose to the occasion and stepped up to be the game-saving hero.
