Arsenal fans are rallying together in a rare attempt to create an atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium – but only for one game.
Ahead of their Champions League meeting with Bayern Munich next week, Gunners fans are calling on each other to take their seats earlier than normal in time hold up a card display around the ground as the players come out to the famous Champions League theme tune.
It’s ironically reminiscent of the atmosphere fans of German clubs like Bayern create at every single home game without any planning at all.
Given their reputation of rarely having an atmosphere at home, is this Arsenal’s attempt at trying not to look inferior to the European Champions’ passionate following when they come to town? Or is this a genuine attempt to prove football fans that they are capable of creating an atmosphere at the Emirates?
