Arsenal have been given permission talk to Croatian wonderkid Marcelo Brozovic, according to the Express.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was heavily critcised for not signing a holding midfielder in the summer transfer window, and has been linked with a move for Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.
But it is believed the Gunners are now in talks to sign Dinamo Zagreb youngster Brozovic, who has been dubbed the ‘Croatian Xavi.’
It is not known how much Arsenal offered Dinamo but Croatian media claim it was enough for them to be given permission to open negotiations with the 21-year-old’s representatives.
Meanwhile, it is also being reported that the Gunners are edging closer to completing a £1.6m deal for Polish starlet Krystian Bielik.
