Arsenal are looking at both Julian Draxler and Wissam Ben Yedder as Arsene Wenger plots to secure attacking additions ahead of the new season, according to Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Gunners have so far had a quiet summer on the signings front, with Granit Xhaka having been joined at the club by youngsters Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.
And with Wenger likely to be without a number of key names due to injury and recovery from EURO 2016 exploits for the season opener at home to Liverpool, there is an expectation that new signings will be drafted in over the coming weeks.
Forward-thinking additions are somewhat needed, and Giulianelli, a well-known Italian football writer, has confirmed recent speculation that Ben Yedder and Draxler are being looked at.
He tweeted: “There is talk around the club about Ben Yedder & Draxler coming in potentially at Arsenal.”

Giulianelli’s words regarding Ben Yedder echo claims made in the French media of late that the striker is a target.
Although an underwhelming name, the £8m-rated Toulouse ace netted 17 goals in 35 Ligue 1 games last season, an impressive haul considering his side only narrowly avoided relegation.
Schalke’s Draxler has also been liked with Arsenal of late, with talk of a £40m – £50m offer doing the rounds.
The German attacking midfielder starred for his nation at EURO 2016, netting in the process.
