Guedes registered three goals as Benfica secured the Primeira Liga title last term, and reports claim that Arsenal have stepped up their interest in the starlet.

It’s understood that Gunners officials were in attendance as the Lisbon giants took on Torino in a pre-season friendly and that they made their interest in the player known to his employers.

Guedes, who made 18 league appearances last term, has been around the first-team set-up at the Estadio da Luz for two campaigns now, and looks to be one of the finest talents emerging in the Iberia nation.
