Arsenal keen on Serie A ace

Juan-Cuadrado-FiorentinaArsenal are tracking Fiorentina wide man Juan Cuadrado ahead of a potential January move, according to reports from talkSPORT.

Gunners chief Arsene Wenger is believed to be searching for reinforcements ahead of the winter window in a bid to keep his side firmly in the Premier League’s title race after an impressive start to the season.

Cuadrado’s fantastic displays for La Viola this term have alerted the Frenchman, who is considering whether or not to test the Serie A side’s resolve with an offer in the New Year.

The pacey Colombian has often been fielded at full-back through his career, but has been impressing in a more advanced role for Fiorentina of late.

The 25-year-old is far from being short of admirers, with the likes of Bayern Munich, Juventus and Monaco all watching his progress, but Wenger is hopeful that he can lure him to London.

Cuadrado only joined the Florence side over the summer in a £4m from Udinese following a successful loan stint at the club last season.

Fiorentina will only sell if they can make a substantial profit, with a valuation of £20m now being mooted or the South American.
