Arsenal looking to La Liga this summer?

With the end of the season edging ever closer, potential transfers for the summer months have already began. Arsenal are one of the teams who are linked with huge deals coming in and going out. If any of these whispers are true, Arsene Wenger is in for a busy summer, and could put together a title winning side for next season.

Sami Khedira announcing he will leave Real Madrid in the summer has immediately resulted in him beig linked with a move to north London. Khedira’s contract runs out in June and he won’t be staying with Los Blancos. This is not the first time the Germany international ahs been linked to Arsenal, and given they signed Mesut Ozil from Real, stranger things have happened.

Theo Walcott’s days in North London may be numbered. After spending almost a full year out due to injury, Walcott may not be moving too far. Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in Walcott, ending his nine year stint with Arsene Wenger.

Santi Cazorla has also had questions raised over his future in the Premier League. Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen to sign Cazorla, but the midfielder has played down the rumours of his move. He claims he is aware of the interest, but he feels ‘valued’ at Arsenal. Do footballers ever mean what they say, though?

Don’t be surprised if Cazorla does leave in summer.

Raheem Sterling’s ongoing contract negotiations have led many to believe he is looking for an exit strategy. Arsenal are supposed to be interested in the 20-year-old, amongst plenty of others. A bidding war could resume for Sterling’s signature, who has stated his contract woes are not down to money.

Arsene Wenger has his eye on Paolo Dybala, who will not be leaving for anything less than £29 million, claims the Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini. Juventus are also monitoring Dybala.

If Arsene Wenger can manage any of these rumours, Arsenal will be a side to be reckoned with next season. Sami Khedira would be a great addition to his squad, and Cech is an outstanding ‘keeper who just has much younger competition. Raheem Sterling seems less likely to sign for the Gunners, I think he has his eye on a move abroad.
