In what turned out to be the most comprehensive victory of the Mikel Arteta era, Arsenal's 4-0 win over Newcastle last Sunday surely have given the squad a spring in their step.

The Gunners put the Magpies to the sword, and will be hoping to do the same on Thursday night when they travel to Greece to face Olympiacos in the last 32 of the Europa League.

The competition could well represent the north London side's best opportunity to qualify for the Champions League for next season, so Arteta will likely play a strong team.

Below is a look at how Arsenal might line up.

Arsenal's potential line-up to face Olympiacos

In goal, Emiliano Martinez should take Bernd Leno's place as the Gunners' resident cup keeper. Arsenal's back four is also likely to see some changes, with Pablo Mari certainly knocking on the door, but having played 45 minutes for the U23s earlier in the week, this game may come too soon.

The likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac should come in for the two full-backs, whilst Greece international Sokratis will surely be champing at the bit to play on his home turf.

In midfield, Matteo Guendouzi could partner Dani Ceballos, whilst it was confirmed Mesut Ozil will miss the tie against Olympiacos due to his partner being about to give birth. That could see Joe Willock be given the chance to shine once again in that all-important number ten role.

And having scored in the final few moments of the clash against Newcastle, Alexandre Lacazette could be given the nod to start instead of academy graduate Eddie Nketiah.
